On February 14, Perkins, a former NBA player, talked about the James Harden and Ben Simmons trade on the show, and he defended Harden.

“Everybody says he’s not James Harden anymore,” Perkins said. But harden doesn’t look like he used to because he doesn’t want to play with Kyrie.

“Nash goes back to Harden and Kyrie, and we’ve seen harden disappear from the game at times, not being aggressive. That’s because Nash tells Harden that some shots aren’t good choices, and Nash doesn’t tell Kyrie that.”

“Harden led his team to 36 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a Christmas day victory against the Lakers, and then went 39+15+8 against the Clippers.”

“So, is Harden going downhill?I don’t think so, and don’t tell me that Harden is going downhill, he’s out of shape. The truth is, he just didn’t want to play in the Nets, he just didn’t want to play in this culture.

“Now that Harden and Embiid are together, we can see the next OK combo, and in this deal, the Sixers really made money!”So far this season, Harden is averaging 22.5 points, eight rebounds and 10.2 assists.
